Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid Releases with Oversized Fuel Tanks

After YAMAHA brought the Ténéré 700 Raid concept motorcycle at the 2021 Milan Auto Show, it quickly released the Ténéré 700 World Raid model recently. This long-distance travel ADVENTURE gets an upgrade with enlarged 23L fuel tanks, a 5-inch TFT instrument, and a three-stage adjustable ABS, providing a brand-new motorbike model choice for riders who love long-distance travel adventures.

The 23L oversized fuel tanks, seat cushion and footboards have been upgraded to make this motorcycle more suitable for long-distance adventure travel! YAMAHA Ténéré 700 World Raid has a lot of changes in appearance. First of all, the enlarged fuel tank makes both sides of the body look wider and stronger, and the whole bike looks more aggressive visually. YAMAHA also fitted the Ténéré 700 World Raid with a longer and wider windshield for adding comfort.

In addition, thanks to the adjustment of the position after the fuel tank being enlarged, the Ténéré 700 World Raid seat cushion can be extended further forward, allowing the rider to have more space to offset the center of gravity when off-road. At the same time, YAMAHA has also increased the size of the footboards and replaced with the two-stage seat cushion, etc., making the Ténéré 700 World Raid more suitable as a long-distance travel and adventure motorcycle.

Suspension stroke is extended by 20mm, Öhlins Steering Damper also equipped. The suspension has also received a small upgrade this time. The front and rear suspension strokes are increased by 20mm; the KYB 43mm front forks give 230 mm of wheel travel; the fully adjustable multi-link mid-mounted bottle rear shock absorber stroke reaches 220mm. In addition, YAMAHA also equipped the Ténéré 700 World Raid as standard with Öhlins' 18-stage adjustable Steering Damper.

Familiar twin-cylinder engine power, 5-inch TFT instrument, three-stage ABS adjustable upgrade. The power is maintained by the 689 cc CP2 parallel twin-cylinder engine, with a maximum horsepower of 73.4hp (9,000rpm) and a maximum torque of 6.9 kg-m (6,500rpm). Unfortunately, the Ténéré 700 World Raid still did not receive other electronic control upgrades such as the tracking control system.

However, the ABS system of Ténéré 700 World Raid has been upgraded to three-stage adjustable, with three modes: fully open, rear wheel closed, and fully closed, allowing riders to make different ABS intervention adjustments according to their own needs; in addition, the instrument this time replaced with a new 5-inch TFT instrument, and has the function of mobile phone Bluetooth connection.

In terms of price, the Ténéré 700 World Raid is priced at £11,600, which is £1,900 more than the standard Ténéré 700.
