Yamaha 2022 Tracer 7 Sports Tourer Collection

At the beginning of November, Yamaha Europe released the 2022' Tracer 7 (MT-07TR), Tracer 7 GT (MT-07TRGT) with new graphics to the local market.

The Tracer 7 series is not yet available in China. The sports street car MT-07 on the same platform is supplied to the domestic market, and the official suggested retail price is 109,800 yuan.

The original model name of the Tracer 7 was Tracer 700, which was born (first released) in 2015 and officially launched in 2016. By November 2019, Yamaha released the second-generation Tracer 700. At the end of last year, the Tracer 700 and Tracer 900 were named Tracer 7 and Tracer 9, and this year they began to sell under this new name.

Since it is a new-generation model that was officially launched last year, the new 2022' Tracer 7 and Tracer 7 GT are still products of the second generation.

Tracer 7, Tracer 7 GT and sports street car MT-07 belong to the extended models of the same platform. They continue to use the existing water-cooled four-stroke inline two-cylinder, DOHC four-valve per cylinder CP2 (cross crankshaft) engine. The cylinder diameter and stroke are maintained. At 80 mm × 68.6 mm, the exhaust volume is 689 cc, and the maximum power output is 54 kw (about 73.4 horses. The European market also provides a low power output version of 35 kw). The body features a tubular frame, aluminum swingarm, a modern-looking and aggressive nose fairing, binocular LED headlights, and an ergonomic, special Body design suitable for long-distance driving.

The main change in the new 2022' Tracer 7 compared to the current 2021 model is a new body pattern (new decals).

With the agility of the MT-07 sports street bike, with the addition of a fairing, a straighter riding position, etc., the equipment and settings required for long-distance driving are important features of the Tracer 7 and Tracer 7 GT.
