The new H2 SX is equipped with new artifacts - radars + prepping camera system
Recently, Kawasaki is testing the 2022 Ninja H2 SX, and a set of road test photos were exposed. With the addition of front and rear radars on the 2022 Ninja H2 SX, it is now one of the fastest yet safest sport touring motorcycles out there. In terms of adaptive safety features, radar is really a big step forward. Its use in cars has proven this for over a decade.
For motorcycles, however, Kawasaki thinks it can make the ride much safer. Therefore, in addition to the radar in the new motorbike, a camera will be provided to assist the work. A new patent application has also been published for a camera-based system on the front of the motorcycle. This also confirms the mysterious device found in the 2021 spy photos behind the motorcycle's instrument cluster. According to the patent application, these cameras enable functions such as cornering headlights. What's more, features like Collision Mitigation Control, Automatic Braking and Lane Keeping Assist have also been added, capable of recognizing objects such as pedestrians, other vehicles and obstacles.
